It all started when…

I learned from great professors in the University of Cincinnati's School of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning. A few years after that I soaked up contrasting and complementary lessons at the Rhode Island School of Design. 

Teaching graphic design at Michigan State University in the Department of Art, Art History, and Design, I now share the most enduring principles and emerging ideas with my students. Instilling various design processes and concepts through critical and analytical thinking establishes a foundation that empowers students to intelligently approach subsequent projects as they move through the curriculum and confidently into the profession.
